My First Quilt…Yummy!

This is my first quilt! It is called Abby’s delight. Abby is my oldest child (7yrs.). She loves her mommy-made :) As you can see, most of these blocks are not perfect. See the mint green ice cream cone? The poor thing is so crooked LOL! Anyway, Abby loves it so that is all that matters.

This is a close up of one of the blocks. They are all hand appliqued.

I have quite a few scraps building up so I think I’ll start cutting for a string quilt like Lucy posted

today. I’m off to work now….

    Wow I wish I could say my first quilt looked this good. Great job. I look forward to seeing more in the future.
